As an Entrepreneur in Residence at Wiom, I focused on DeFi protocol architecture and blockchain technology to support the mission of democratizing WiFi access across India. My role included leading the blockchain team, developing smart contracts, and creating innovative network architectures while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Leading the Blockchain Team: I recruited and mentored team members, set project goals, and ensured timely delivery of high-quality blockchain solutions. By coordinating closely with developers, designers, and stakeholders, I fostered a culture of innovation and collaboration, enabling the team to tackle complex technical challenges effectively.

Smart Contract Development: I spearheaded the development of secure, efficient, and transparent smart contracts essential to Wiom’s DeFi initiatives. These contracts automated various processes, including peer-to-peer transactions, user authentication, and transaction validation, meeting the highest security and performance standards.

Protocol Architecture: I designed the network architecture for a peer-to-peer public WiFi network using the PM-WANI framework. This decentralized protocol leveraged blockchain technology to facilitate secure and efficient connectivity among public WiFi hotspots. I developed algorithms for network optimization, data privacy, and user authentication.

Product Development and Innovation: I played a key role in product development, from ideation to deployment. I identified user needs, conceptualized product features, and collaborated with the development team to create a decentralized application (DApp) for seamless WiFi management. This DApp integrated blockchain functionalities to ensure a secure, user-friendly experience.

Peer-to-Peer Network Implementation: I developed a decentralized protocol for WiFi routers to communicate directly, reducing dependency on centralized servers and improving network resilience. This architecture enabled efficient bandwidth sharing and load balancing, enhancing the overall user experience.

User Engagement and Community Building: I actively engaged with users and stakeholders to gather feedback and improve our offerings. I organized workshops, webinars, and community events to educate users about decentralized WiFi benefits, building a strong, engaged user base and fostering a sense of community around Wiom’s mission.
