The oceans are vital to our planet’s health, and ensuring their preservation is essential for future generations.
My passion for sustainable fishing stems from the desire to maintain the delicate balance of marine ecosystems. Overfishing and destructive fishing practices have wreaked havoc on ocean life, leading to the decline of many species and the degradation of habitats.
By advocating for sustainable fishing, I aim to promote practices that allow fish populations to thrive while maintaining the health of the entire marine environment.
Spearfishing is a low-impact method of fishing. It doesn’t involve nets or long lines that can damage the ocean floor or trap unintended species. The equipment used is minimal, and the activity itself has a small ecological footprint compared to other fishing methods.
